Side by Side Training Centre, a Dorset based training provider, has been accredited to the Matrix Standard, demonstrating the high quality of the IAG service offered in relation to learning & training, careers & employment, and health & finance, they provide to their adult learners and apprentices.

It’s the start of a new academic year here at Side by Side and although it’s not a new event for the team, this year, in particular, does feel like a fresh new beginning. As a nation we may not be completely ‘out of the pandemic woods’ but there is a noticeable uplift in positivity – a Summer of successful sport helped for sure!!

It’s that time of year again when young people who have worked so hard over the past two years to get to this gateway to their future, experience either elation or total deflation.  No matter how many times people say ‘it really doesn’t matter…you can still succeed in life’ it does not hold back the wave of disappointment that washes over you.

We're continuing the celebrations of Side By Side Training 10th year by offering Level 4 qualifications at a reduced price during the month of June 2019. Each of the following courses will be just £750 (normally £1000) saving you £250!!!

At Side by Side we’ve always been somewhat wary of distance-learning. Apart from the fact that it goes against our ethos (the clue is in our name), more significantly, statistics from years gone by have shown that distance-learning is not as successful for learners as traditional teacher-led (same applies for assessors) training

The Side by Side Training team are delighted to welcome Zoe Terry on board to lead the new CACHE Level 3 Dental Nursing Programme. Available from September 2017, the L3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice of Dental Nursing is practice-based so learners will need to be working in or on placement within a dental surgery.

On 1st May 2017, the new Employer-Led Apprenticeship system was introduced. Essentially apprenticeship funding still exists, indeed the government is still aiming for its target of 3 million apprenticeships starting in England between 2015 and 2020, but now employers are ‘in the driving seat’ of the apprenticeship journey for their employees.
