Rachel Moloney

Rachel started her career in business as a buyer, progressing to purchasing and contracts manager for a variety of different industries.
After having children, she retrained as a basic skills teacher, starting her career in education at an FE college in 2004 as a subject specialist tutor in maths and English, with an emphasis on supporting learners with additional needs. Since 2005 Rachel has taught maths and English to learners from a variety of vocational areas including full-time programmes, apprenticeships and adult students.

During her time in education, she has worked in many roles that include ALS tutor, GCSE teacher, advanced practitioner, and teaching and learning coach. These roles have helped develop an expertise in teaching, learning and assessment through continuous professional development and the opportunity of working collaboratively with many excellent teachers and students.

After completing a level 5 qualification in coaching and mentoring, Rachel has had the privilege of coaching and mentoring colleagues, students, and peers to develop new strategies to improve their knowledge and skills.

Rachel is thrilled to be supporting learners in their training and helping to improve their maths and English, creating new opportunities in their future careers.
